| First and foremost, I would REPRESENT the people in my district. Not special interests. Second, propose legislation to end the adding of "pork" on bills to gain needed votes. Require legislators to discuss the core issues at hand and limit the number of amendments tacked onto one bill. I would strive to promote non-partisan politics. Third, create jobs and support bills creating jobs. Lastly, I would cut needless government spending wherever possible. I would also propose a balanced budget amendment to prevent budget shortfalls in the future. |
